HORRID is the name of a global underground criminal organization. They are involved in all sorts of criminal activities such as poaching, terrorism, murder, theft, trafficking, etc. Members do not use their real names, just code names, which are either chosen by the members or assigned to them. This keeps the knowledge of the members isolated and does not allow wide breaches of information.

Sargon sent Smackdown and Switchblade on a poaching mission in Africa. There, they met up with Kragg and Mr. Whiz and recruited them. (Kragg and Mr. Whiz#1-2)
Later in their mission, all four encountered Dung Beetle 192, who defeated them, and went searching for more information on HORRID. (Dung Beetle#1-2).
Tsunami set up a mining operation in Timidia, enslaving the local men and boys in the process, while searching for the ancient Axe of God. Dung Beetle found out about the operation, freed the men in the mines, and was confronted by Tsunami, Tachi, Bonecrusher and Buzzkill. Tsunami distracts Dung Beetle with Bonecrusher, while he, Tachi and Buzzkill leave the mine. They, and the rest of the HORRID members there, including Shrapnel, Warzone and Lollipop, escape on their hovertank, and collapse the mine on the battling Dung Beetle and Bonecrusher (Dung Beetle#3-4).
