The name "Martin" is first mentioned by Smith in "The Adventures of Sprinkles the Psychotic Moose" Number 3. Martin Sprinkles in human form is shown for the first time in "Sprinkles and Jack" Number 1, in a flashback.
More of Martin's past is told in The Adventures of Sprinkles the Psychotic Moose Numbers 10-11, when it is revealed that Cyber Sprinkles is Martin's father. His name then was Jonathan Sprinkles and he was human. After an experiment by Dr. Geneius, he thought he was a moose, and mated with one. The result of that love was Martin.
