"There's a Moose on our Tree: A Very Special Christmas" was a one-shot book created by Matt Forrrestall during the Initial Era in December 1995.

The story begins in a Christmas tree lot, where Crazy Willy is trying to sell Sprinkles and Jack a dilapitated tree for $50. The duo argue it's too much money, and then Sprinkles consults Biscuit, whom he pulls out in his jar. Meanwhile, Anthrax is also at Crazy Willy's Used Tree World. He's pissed that all the good trees are gone and is about to start breaking stuff. Just then, Eggman jumps in to stop him, but Anthrax just zaps him with his anthrax blast.

Sprinkles tells Crazy Willy that Biscuit wants the tree, so they'll take it. Just then, Eggman comes flying through from the force of Anthrax's blast. Jack and Sprinkles attack. Sprinkles hacks into Anthrax with his ax, and then Jack shoots him point blank. Then from behind them someone says "Good Grief". It's Charlie Brown, from the "Peanuts" cartoon, which Sprinkles thinks is called "Pe-nus". Charlie tells them that Christmas is about the birth of Jesus and we should rejoice in the brotherhood of man. His speech touches Sprinkles, but then we learn Charlie's alterior motive - to get a better tree this year, and Jack stops him in his tracks - by shooting him. Schroder is there too, and Sprinkles and Jack order him to play some Christmas music, and the duo run off singing and shooting.
