Character Biography[]
Two-Ply decides to steal the coins from the whale fountain in the plaza on the campus of Quadropolis University. He walks up and absorbs the water from the fountain. He then boasts to the surrounding students, stating his name and mentioning that he is super-absorbant.
Watermelon-Man appears and attacks as Two-Ply is sucking up all the change from the fountain into some vacuum type machine. Watermelon-Man punches Two-Ply in the stomach repeatedly and smashes a watermelon over his head. Neither attack is effective, as Two-Ply can absorb the punches and the juice of the melon. The villain then squeezes the juice out of his arm, into Watermelon-Man's face, and then while he's wiping his face, Two-Ply attacks with his tendrils, wrapping up the hero in toilet paper, like a mummy. When Watermelon-Man breaks out of his wrappings, he's angry and ready to take on the big guy, but he's shocked to see that Two-Ply is nowhere to be seen. ("Watermelon-Man" #2, 2015)
